Biography

Why she serves.

Rev. Mrs. Attah Bamfo is the founder of CZ Foundation and an ordained minister whose life and work are rooted in a simple but profound conviction: widows and orphans must be seen, loved, and cared for. Drawing on her pastoral calling, she established the foundation as a practical expression of her faith, creating a safe place where vulnerable families can access support, dignity, and hope.

Through CZ Foundation, she leads programs that provide emotional, spiritual, and, where possible, material assistance to those who are too often overlooked, ensuring they know they are not forgotten. As a minister, mentor, and advocate, she is committed to building a community that reflects compassion in action and champions the rights and wellbeing of widows and orphans for generations to come.

We do not rescue people. We walk with them. There is a world of difference between the two.

Off the clock

Parent of two, an avid reader of African literature (current favorite: Tsitsi Dangarembga), and a long-distance runner who once completed the Standard Chartered Nairobi Marathon in 4:12. She makes the best chapati in the office — a fact even her staff begrudgingly agree on.
